Axl Jet Baños is a prolific computer programmer, computer technician, graphics designer, streamer, professional computer, mobile and video game player, composer, writer, artist, and game designer as well as a voice actor, animator, and web, audio, and video designer. He was born and raised in General Santos City, located in South Cotabato, on September 14, 1996, just only 5 years after his sister, Kyrie Eleison Baños, was born on September 27, 1991, but same month as his mother, who was born on September 22, 1964. The hometown that he and his sister Kyrie Eleison Baños (including his nephew named Sky Exl Eir Baños) grow up and live in is the same because of his parents who formerly lived in residences they came from. His father is from Zamboanga city and his mother is from Pampanga, a city where her relatives live in, but both of them went to General Santos City because of their respective works. That’s why they don’t have money to earn if they don’t have their jobs. While growing up and living there with his parents as a special child, he was interestingly wishing to become a computer programmer for computer and video game development (fittingly defined as a form of making games like those of other game developers), including game designs and engines (e.g. Game Maker and Multimedia Fusion), and a lot more projects ever since his likeness in computer and video games, especially the ones he played as a hobby, as well as making game assets. Other than that, he is also interested in drawing characters, places, and objects, coming from his imaginations and anything he saw and experienced in his life between childhood and adulthood, especially TV shows, movies, magazines, books, and video games, making graphical and artistic designs (pixel artworks for as an example), music composition from what he listened to (just like his father loved it), web design, and voice acting that came from hearing TV shows, radios, movies, theaters, stages, and video games as well.
Upon his birth, his father gave him his full name after his favorite musical artists and bands. This name consists of those from musical album artists: Axl from Axl Rose, Jet from Jethro Tull, Eno from Bryan Eno, and Lee from Devil Lee Rot.
Before starting his career as a computer programmer in time since his love of video games as a child, Axl studied in both Lamb of God School and Canon Migglacio School (now Canonico Antonio Institute, Inc.) for over 3 years in preschool and 6 years in elementary. He also studied in Notre Dame of Dadiangas University – Integrated Basic Education Department (NDDU-IBED) for 4 years in high-school, and Notre Dame of Dadiangas University (NDDU) for 4 years in college under the course called the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
As a computer programmer and game designer under the Psonic (Psonic Studios for today) name, Axl is known for the creation of these computer and video game projects: Invaderoid, which is his first Space Invaders-esque game made with Game Maker 8.0 during his high-school years, Space Monsters, which is his first top-down shooter game, and Galactempest, which plays similar to Space Invaders, Tempest, and Gyruss. In addition to his computer and video game development career, he is both a MUGENite and a M.U.G.E.N creator too after starting his experience of the M.U.G.E.N fighting game engine in the late 2007 and his interest in making fighting game assets related to this engine, including but not limited to characters, stages, screen packs, and perhaps many more.
Despite being a computer programmer, Axl is also a graphics and game designer, composer, writer, streamer, artist, and voice actor as his additional careers instead. In his artistic career, he created his hero-looking self OC (an acronym for “Original Character”) known as Axl Jet, named after half of his real name, though he looks like Steve from JohnnyUtah’s Tank Men series in a social website called Newgrounds.
